    Finally made a decision ...

I finally, finally, finally made a decision (after 18 months) regarding new wheels and tires. After way too much agonizing over hundreds of different combinations, I've ordered four Foose 17x8 Nitrous Legend (Chrome) wheels with Nitto NT-555s (255/50/17) tires. The wheels are very simplistic in design and should be easier to keep clean. Woo hoo!

Good looking rims for sure! I just hope you don't wish you would have gone with 18's! Great choice!

I can still change the order. 18" versus 17"? My stock wheels are 16". What are the pros and cons?

with the 18's the ride will feel more planted, due to less side wall, but on the flip side it will be a little more harsh due to the decreased sidewall. i would go with the larger size on that s197 if it were me. just looks damn sexy on those cars.

With the 18's you can go with a lower profile higher performance tire and still fill out the wheel wells. I think the 18's look better IMO.

    +1 18's at a minimum- you won't regret it
