i believe the snout length is different from the cobras to the machs because the cobras had the separate blower belt spaced out further. i think that they used the cobra lower though

    EDITED:

After I typed this I realized that the compressor does not have a snout on it. Was not an issue for me at the time since I was going to use the one off the 1.7.

So the length issue is not a problem But a snout would be one of the parts needed to piece it together.

This may only be a good deal for somone who needs to replace their 2.2 compressor and has everything else or someone who finds a complete kit with a bad compressor for cheap.

So when you say "new" are you referring to the condition of the blower or is it the redesigned style without the catch can??

    Do you have any pics?

Nope. All I need to outrun you is a set of slicks and maybe a new pulley.

I can't wait for this one! I also have a set of slicks you can borrow.

I thought you needed this blower to get past 11.5?

No the blower was the least of the problem. I am only running 8 lbs of boost. The biggest problem I have had has been the tranny or should I say trannys-lol.

The blower was going to go on a new built motor to put it ~650 hp but it didn't work out and I have decided to put it off for a while. Looking at venturing into other interests i.e. riding quads with my son so I am putting the 10K I would have sunk into the new motor into a set of quads and a trailer.
