Firebird Club Day?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if there are any local mustang clubs that have club days at Firebird in Chandler, I go to Friday night Drags regularly but it is turning into truck/rice rocket central , you get like 2 runs in
maybe !! Would be great to run during the day on a weekend and meet alot of other Mustang folks, any thoughts?

I guess this would be for east valley guys mostly, any AZ stanger would be great but it seems most of the people on this forum are from the west side of PHX, other words the other side of the world !! lol

I do go to Speedworld for test/tune but its so far !!!!!!!!!! lol

Most club days at Firebird generally seem to be things where they are actually renting out the road courses, not the strip. Which sucks because I generally only get to make it out to the Friday Night Drags out at Firebird because 72 miles out to speedworld and back is a lot of driving. I'm still able to get in 4 passes a night if I want. Could probably get even more if I tried. Then again, I have not been out in a couple weeks, but I'm tempted to head out this Friday night.

Damn it to hell, I may not be going Friday after all. I think my clutch is about to die on me. Decided to test out the line lock and while that worked, you could smell what I believe is clutch despite only doing a short burnout at 3k with my foot nowhere close to the clutch pedal...Parked it. Climbed back in later and noticed that the pedal is a bit stiffer than usual and you can still get a whiff of what smells like clutch. Maybe it's just the cable binding, but only taking a look at it will tell. At this rate my luck is not so great.

When disc burns the clutch will engage closer to the top of the pedal.

i'll try and be there this friday to try out my new trans but i dont know for sure since its my mom's birthday and i think the family is having a get together

For you 11th people, I'll definitely be out on the 11th. My plan is to have the car tuned that Friday since I have the day off so long as PSR has the time and I get that x-pipe before then!
