Old guy with lots of Fox parts on a Fairmont

    Hello,
I'm new here and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm an old man who never quite grew up when it comes to cars. My daily driver is a 1978 Fairmont powered by an injected 5.0 out of a 1993 Mustang LX. I'm using the seats, dash, console, steering wheel, column, computer, harness and fuel system. It's basically a late model Mustang with Fairmont sheet metal. Last year a replaced the AOD with a T-56. What a difference in the fun factor! I'll shut up now. Thanks, Ken.

Thanks guys. When is the show at Berge? Are you going to do the cruise on Main next Saturday? Here is the interior when it still had the AOD (and the typical broken ash tray door).

That sounds familiar.........Latemodel Restoration Supply has the needed fix kit. Get two, if Fairmonts are like Fox Mustangs, the ash tray doors are two ways: Those that need to be fixed, and those that will need to be fixed.
