    new build

well it has been a while since i was last on this site, and alot has happend since then. I scorched a cylinder last year and was looking at boring the block and rebuilding the motor. while i was at it i figured why not go turbo while i am at it. so I did, the build is still in progress and should be ready in about 2-3 weeks. i also did away with the IRS in favor of a ford 9" from moser with 3.25 gear ratio and 35 spline axles. replace the complete fuel system including the tank in favor of a system from aeromotive with 96lb injectors. here is the present mod list. there could be some things i am missing.

wow the build looks great man. dont you think 96's are a lil much, are you planning on running 28lbs+ boost? tuning will be a lil difficult on that 3k maf, we have ran into like 4 or 5 3k maf that have been FUBAR from the get go, tuning for drivabilty will be an issue and idle too, well best of luck to you on your bulid

did 96's because i may bump up to a y2k88 at some point and i will need them for that setup at 30psi+

on this turbo i am going for about 25-26 psi which should net between 800-850 rwhp on good fuel.

we are going with the 3000 for now because my tuner has another car that is using one and it has been easy to tune and idels and drive fine right at 1000rwhp. we do have 2800 units in stock at the shop as well so if it becomes an issue it will be a quick change.
