    Shift Light Help

So im gonna be installing a digital tach with a shift light and I wanted to see who has done these and the easiest way to do it. The instructions say to hook it up to a 12v switched source, ground it , and hook it up to the tach terminal on the ECU this is the part im confused about if anyone could offer up some tips or ideas that would help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

This is how the Raptor (The one I recommend) is done.
Not sure if it applies to your unit.

yeah i read that one and it looks like it might work but it says something about selecting the 1 setting since youre only getting one coil but mine only has a 4, 6, and 8 cylinder setting
