8 people killed, 6 injured in streetracing accident in MD. Unfortenetly, the accident was caused by another vehicle NOT involved in the street racing and was just wrong place wrong time, hitting several ppl spectating from the road.One person who was found inside the car was allegedly a spectator who entered the car upon impact.

I heard about that also. Very tragic and also avoidable. That is why the track is a better place to run your ride even though it really was not the fault of the guys racing. What I heard is that the guy driving the car that hit everyone was unable to see due to the smoke created by the brun outs. Very unfortunate.
