Just aafter rich left today I started the replacement of parts on the coupe. Rear deck lid and it had the auto release on the new one and plan to hook it up to a push button somewhere.

My 89 has a button, in the glove-box left side.

Looks good. I have never been a big fan of luggage racks. They are more fitting on an old Benz or Jag.

Well ripped the interior out and guess what we found???? The two rear mounting bolts, the metal around them on both front seats are cracked right through the floor. No rust just cracked floor all around the bolts. Sooooooooo looks like welding in in line before anything else happens which will include the subs.

Which set of tail lights, are you going to go with left, or right? You could be unique you know, and use the set on the right and go sequential. Hell it might look good, it would definetly be unique. Good luck with it, nice score. But the green has got to go, looks like it came right out of the 60's, Mike D.

I'm sorry, the button in the glove box is for the gas door. The trunk button, is on the right of the steering column. It's on the panel that goes under the column, 4" to the right, and 3" down.

The green is going for sure! I found a set of very nice tail lights from an 80 Mustang and they are going on..
