oh, would it be a big deal if one of my close friends tags along? he has an rx-8, and i told him he would be an outcast, but he said he kinda wanted to join us....

According to mapquest its 33 miles. So 30~45 minutes without traffic...

We should leave Costco around 11:15am and be there by noon. Everyone good with taking 101 to I-17 north to exit 242? Make a left under the freeway and a right on Black Canyon Hwy and head north. Anyone want to take New River Rd to Carefree Hwy on the way back (I've never done it-just looking at mapquest)??

I will be returning VIA New River road. It is a great way to bypass the I-17 south traffic.
