When I got there, I didn't get to say 'Hi' to Jeff. I noticed that he was having a problem, so I left him alone. He did run well, later on. I guess he fixed whatever the problem was. I'm sure he'll fill you guys in on it all. And, no I didn't run. 33 degree track surface, coupled with my knowledge of how a 4300+lb L runs on a similar surface, I said "Nope, not gonna do it." Had the track been a little better (I was watching the 60fts of the street cars from the tower), I might have made some runs. Call it coping out, if you like. I call it smart. Still it was a good time. Damn cold, though.

Congrats on the new best there Jeff. I only ran once, there were a bunch of cars and it was cold. Something is up with the car, sounded like I almost ripped the rear out of it. It looks fine and drove home fine. On my run I couldn't grip with the shittos and it got a little squirrely about mid track. Maybe next time......on slicks
I heard that they had ground off the bumps that were on the track, so there was some rubber missing from the track.
Everyone seemed to be having trouble with traction. That's why I felt it better to not push my luck. I've had the L out there, on a cold track, I was having to steer the truck to keep it in the groove. And, that thing has more power and ET Streets. I can only imagine the lack of control I'd have with my car. Next time.
Wickedcobra, I think that was you I passed, while you were trying to get in the line behind that Porsche. That was just after the offramp. Looks and sounds good.
