Anybody else having problems with the 555R's? Dude i don't know if i have horrible luck or what but I just walked outside to go home from work and saw I have another flat! That makes 6 in the last month and a half. I do run the car hard but this is just getting stupid! I love the tire...just not when it has to be replaced on an almost weekly basis. bout ready to shoot myself if it happens again!

No problems with the 555's here except they suck at the track. Given that I broke my IRS on the street IO can say they hook up on the street.

As for your flat.....stop running over nails LOL

I've had problems with my Nitto DR's going flat. Like everyone said, great street tire but not so good on the strip. I'm gonna try the BFG's next.

My BFG's wore out about 4 times faster than the Nitto's.

Nittos will get you the mileage your after, and they will hook better at the track then a normal street tire. But the BFGs and MT DRs stick way better, problem is they only last 5-10k max normally.

I can also tell you that you have to cook the sheit out of the Nittos in the wet box if ya want them to stick better at the track. They do make a good strip/street tire if you are looking to get +10k mile out of them, I have about 10k on mine now and they will last atleast another 5-10k.

BTW- I haven't had any issues with my Nittos leaking air either................

    10K LOL.

I got 700 out of the BFG's and about 1500 on the Nitto's now and they have about 25% left. I guess I have some kind of problem.

Seems to be the story I hear from most people who have experimented with them for a while. I think the Nitto's are the better choice for a DD from friends experiences and from what I've seen here on the Forums. Definitely will be glad to get those mounted up this week courtesy of PSR

MT's 315/35/17's I've had both nitto and bfg's. The MT's hook way better and are lasting longer than the BFG's. A lot longer.
