went and shot a few pics...

    here is the spacer...

and this shows pretty dang well how far the stud actually goes through. right where the shank is broken is about where the threads on the stud stopped. there was only the unthreaded part of the stud showing when the breakage happen.

Good thread.....Another question is......When all said and done with the spacer and the extended studs.....How do you run your regular street bullets with the same lugnuts it cam with for the wheel.... Where do you find open ended lug nuts that style? I think they are accorn type......

Do you still have the stock calipers Tony?

    I see you have a 3/4" spacer. I have a 1".

What is the distance of the remaining broken shank on the nut side?

yes, i have the stock cobra calipers. i put the 10th anniversary calipers on, and with a fresh pad, they would not fit. i had to take the brake pads to a belt sander and remove about 1/4 of the pad so that the caliper would not hit the wheel. even then it rubbed a little but just enough to remove the red paint on the out tip of the caliper.

it worked. took two trips to the shop to get the perfect, but with how easy the pads come off the cobra calipers, it was no biggie.

honestly i had some of the open ended lugs left from my 98 gt and use them on my stock wheels. just had a little stud sticking out of the lug hole.
