yes i do. though they have been modded to pass tech, since i was told that the lug must be half way through the nut.

i am very intrested to hear the outcome of that thread. this has been something that has been a great concern to me since i had a lug break while torquein them.

I have a strange feeling that people are running them on the shanks.

    How did you modify them?

Looks like most people are running them this way. I know this will not get past firebird tech.

I just cut the "horseshoes" off my calipers and don't need spacers with mine. From what I can tell, the horseshoes don't really do anything.

Mine are Telstars . . but I think they are the same as far as clearance.

if you run gt brakes up front you need to run a 7/16's spacer. Its better to do open ended lugs if your know your legal. If your not then run closed and hope they dont ask you to pull one off to check depth. the rule is 1/2 the shank must catch the stud. As said do arp 3.5's they are better then any of the 3"s your find(quality wise and easy of putthing the shank lugs on

The rule is the thread engagement in the lug must equal the diameter of the stud. So I need the threads to engage the nut portion of the lug with a distance equal to the diameter of the stud. The long shank engagement means nothing.

The cobra rotors are larger than the GTs so that is the problem.

I don't want to cut things being this is still a street car.

why not just grind the calipers. You can use a small spacer and grind the calipers a little bit. If you take a lot off you have to worry about cracking but dont have to take a super lot of and plenty of people have done it.

That is an option. I just hate doing stuff like that. Realistically I need over 1/2 of an inch to get the thread engagement.

I know many people are running the wheels on the shank engagement only, but from a safety standpoint I want the studs contacting the threads under the bolt section. If 999 cars can do it and 1 car looses a wheel at 130 MPH odds are I will be that car with some of the luck I have.

grind the caliper and run a 1/2" or 7/16's space. I org used a 7/16's mr gasket spacer with stock studs on my gt for many many passes then towards the end went to arp 3.5's when i got my 1/2 inch hubcentric spacer(was going to race legal, but before that never had any issues with tech but nobody made me remove the lugs either)
