    Epa Bullsh!t

So, finally I have the money to get a Whipple on my 2008 after putting headers, x pipe, cat backs and 3:73 gears. All goes well then the dealer says, "Wait!!" Apparently, Ford does not yet have the OK from the EPA to put supercharges aftermarket on the 2008 models! What!? Talk 'bout blu ballz!!!

what???? whipple makes a kit to do this. FYI if a dealer installs it.. It still voids the warranty no matter what they say

if u can do it for $5500 out the door (this price is not bs), I'll be there after my surgery which will be at the end of Nov. The S/C the dealer is talking about is a Whipple and will increase the power by 100 hp. There is another (150+hp gain) but it will destroy my rear end and the tranny accord to the dealer

    + MORE THAN YOU KNOW!!!

The dealership offers the intercooled kit (the 150hp gain) as well and they would not offer it if it was going to destroy the car. Buy the intercooled kit, its a little more, but it runs stronger and safer in the long run.

ok, I won't listen 2 the dealer. So, how much hp can the tranny hold? the rear end with 3:73 gears? Also, why won't the EPA let Ford install S/C on 2008 models? When will they be able to do it? Will it be covered under waranty since it is sold as a FRPP? Oh, and if I get it installed elsewhere, will they be able to correctly program the car's computer? and will I get the same discount?

All I have is hearsay so I can't down these guy but the local opinion in N.M. is the H.P turbo kits rock IF you let them do the install. Otherwise they will take forever to get you the kit and then it will be missing components. I know their twin setup for the 3V has been coming soon for the last 2 years now. But I can't down them as they make an awesome kit for the Terminators, and the 3V kit seems alright too.
