    Time for a spool....LOL

Sure...the automatic doesnt hit as hard BUT, it still hits hard enough! Asking around on a bunch of forums I got yes and no answers to staying with a posi as the car still see's street duty. I made the decision to try out the posi. Last one lasted me about 25k miles. Granted it was 400rwhp for about 15k miles, the 450rwhp for about 6k miles. Hell, the ring gear broke a 3 teeth before the posi went...so I figured if I could get another 10-15k out of a posi, great! Well it seems 1.4 60 foots and posi's dont work together...LOL
Launched the car as usual and it hooked HARD. Was easily going to be a mid to high 1.4. Car went about 5 feet and BANG! Let off the throttle to listen and heard grinding so I immediately pulled over and the car stopped itself...got out and looked under to see this

as all 2+ quarts of Royal Purple poured out I thought to myself, ****in posi. For the haters, this was NOT an Eaton unit. I put a Strange Pro (Super Strength) Posi...yea....haha

    Wow that left a mark...

Spools are definitely worth it. Driveability for the street isn't bad either. The worst part is trying to push the car around. It's the only negative I've found.

Agreed. I especially love pushing the car in the driveway and watching the tire leave rubber marks on the ground when you try turning it.
