Cobra A class

This class is for stock location suspension cars.
No back half cars allowed, no mini tubs allowed, Stock position struts and shocks only, use of coil overs is permitted , Use of lighter suspension items permitted


No movement forward nor backwards of motor is allowed
Motor must remain is stock location, no modification to the firewall of any kind, Front box frame must be complete and in tacked. No tube chassis allowed, No previsions or modification of front bumper cover or hood for turbo allowed

Rear suspension
In cobra A class use of a solid axles is permitted, Mini tubs is prohibited, Shocks must remain in stock location, Any tire allowed as long as it is in factory fenderwells

Transmission
Automatic OEM transmissions permitted, factory manual gear boxes also permitted

Power adders
Single Turbo permitted but limited to 88mm, due turbos permitted nut limited to 54mm, Any factory style replacement super charger permitted, multiple power adders allowed, (ie super charger and nitrous, Turbo and meth, so on and so forth) no triple power adder allowed.

Motor displacement should be based on a 4.6 block only, Wet leave is permitted.

Anything is possible, but I am curious how many Cobras would show up if this race was held in Phoenix. We all know that there are not a ton of drag racing cobras around this town, but I am sure we could get some of the Socal, Vegas, Albuquerque people to show up if there was a decent payout.

We could probably make it financially feasible if an all ford event was organized, but the cobra classes within the event sounds like a good idea.

It take a good bit of planning and promotion to do this, but I think a big ford event in the winter would be cool. Especially for the people shoveling snow!
