I have a JLT CAI on my car now, but I heared you will get a bit more ponies from A CAI with not so many bends. Is this correct?

JLT is the best for starting with the coolest air. Bends can cause tuning problems base on their relation to the MAF, but I have yet to hear about loosing power with the JLT due to bends.
If you have a straight filter in the engine bay you would be starting out with air that is hotter than the JLT fender air. I data logged a large drop in IAT's when going to the JLT.

You have the big boost kit on your car now, Id leave it alone, it has minimal bends and is still getting the cooler air form the fender.
Thanks guys.
yea, i just changed my fenderwell cai over to the high boost kit, which really only moved the maf closer to the throttle body. i think the two bends it makes are really not as harmful as the hot as hell air in the engine bay.
