Thanks to Bill and the guys at Stage 3. I picked up a Rockford Fosgate 12" sub today. It didn't take long to install it and the sound is pretty good. Much better than the stock Shaker 500.
The only thing I would suggest to those of you who plan to buy is that you will need to pick up a different screw for the top mounting point. The one that is supplied in the kit is too short. You will need a M8 - 1.25 x 30 socket head cap screw.
