    Spec Stage 5 Impressions

Did my first test drive on the Spec 5 clutch.
    It functions as expected.
I spoke with several cobra drivers that have or had this clutch into the 9's and they all gave me the recommendation.

It is good to 1200 HP with a solid Iron Disc.

There is not chatter as it is and on off clutch.

There is a little bit of squeal when starting out in first, but that will go away after some miles based on the recommending party's experience.

For the most part it is a great clutch. Street manners are not that bad.
If you need to hold power this is the ticket. If you don't push big power on slicks you probably would want the Stage 3+.

Sweetness. How much does a clutch of that caliber usually run? You stalled it yet?

I got it for $400 shipped form Lethal.

No stall yet. You just have to let it out fast. No slippage. Its either engaged or disengaged.

Race Clutch = Install and blast down the track.

But I will take it easy for a few hundred miles.

I had no sucess with the Spec stage III plus, maybe that one would work though, but I'd be afraid of another Spec, Power House Performance in Erie has a whole pile of them that failed with the turbo cars.
