Ratt- try some epideral injections with steriods. I had some issues with my back and it seems like it work. Not 100% but I can at least sleep and get around without any problems.

I am chicken. That stuff scares me. It seems like it is slowly getting better... about 90% now, but have days/times when it still seems to cause more pain.
