    Stock RPM Gauge

    Is there any way I can I can test a wire to make the stock rpm dash move so I know what wire to cut into?? Like add power or ground it or something??

    The rpm gauge is referred to as the tachometer, and I wouldn't advise cutting any wires without a wiring diagram. If you don't know how to read a wiring diagram, have someone else wire your tachometer. Usually wiring diagrams in repair manuals are pretty self-explanatory though, buy a Chilton's manual if you haven't already, they are rich in information and always helpful in any job for a DIYer.

    I do have one a chiltons.....All I want to know if its possible to add power to the wire just to make the rpm gauge move.....That way I know for sure its the right 1...
