    CAI Question

It's about time to throw cold air intake on my '05 GT. I had a K&N FIPK on my ranger and had no problems at all. Can I put one on my GT alone or do I have to tune it too? What are my options, and by experience what setup do you guys recommend?

You'd be wise to get a tune. I went the Brenspeed/ C&L street intake route and couldn't be happier. The gains were quite impressive.

+1 spend the money and get a CAI with a tune. Your Buttdyno will appreciate it. JLT, C&L, and Tunable Induction are all good CAIs and for mail order tunes I recommend VMP, Bamachips, Evolution, or Brenspeed. I've been running an JLT/EVO CAI and tune for over a year and a half and no issues.

JLT or C&L with a custom tune from VMP is my recommendation. You'll benefit from having the tuner later on for if you ever want to install headers or gears or any other bolt on for that matter.
