    While I'm at it..

Feel like posting some really old pics of my T-Bird since I've been working on it lately. The Lightning one is recent though, and was used in a Thunderbird/Cougar calender.

Is there really that much more hood clearance in the 96+ that you run the standard throttle body like that? My 95 has no hood clearance for that and runs the throttle body facing forward in the rear of the bay. Maybe I could swap a Mustang intake on and it might fit????

and where are these Thunderbird meets??? Mine is an old pile of crap and maybe one day I can afford a nice one again but its still something I would look into.

Also what exhaust do you have on your bird? My 94 I bought some cheapo tips that looked good, cut off the mufflers and I actually really liked the sound.

LOL! It was!! The hood is all faded right now as well as a couple areas. She's still my baby and I'm going to make her a project car when the engine dies. I still love to drive it!

Yeah, plenty of clearance. The 96's & 97's had the mustang Plenum and throttle bodies. The 94's and 95's were different and have that wierd intake with the entrance in the rear. That picture of the meet was a southwest supercoupe meet. Me and my buddy had the only V8 LX's out there. Dunno when the next one is.

I have a custom exhaust setup with flowmaster mufflers. I will have to post a vid so you can hear it.
