LOL, yes yes that was me , I fried my centerforce that night. And though my car won't be ready by this upcoming weekend, its finally being built to handle what i throw at it.
Mcleod Street twin 26spline cltuch
Aluminum flywheel (had a steel flywheel, hated it)
G-Force T-56, 2.62 gearset fully micropolished and triple cone syncros with bronze pad upgrade, steel 3/4 shift fork, RPM custom modified 1/2 shift fork, billet keys, TOB retainer sleeve, from RPMTransmissions
Pulling the Detroit locker from my 9" Moser rear and replacing with a Tracloc differential
Possibly picking up a chromoly driveshaft.
I have yet to make a solid pass down the track, first time blew the IRS, second time blew the trans, fried three clutches. The one and only time it would have seemed I was gonna make it, my throttle switch got stuck wide open throttle on the JLT intake hose clamp so I had to shut the car down at the top of second gear
Best time was a 13.095 with the car shut off though, lol.
Man thats is a lot of work.
I hurt the clutch on the night we raced. I am going with a spec 5 next.
Solid axle on the way also. My IRS has been nice to me but 1.59 60ft times are not enough for my liking. LOL
