    Just have them Basecoat and Clearcoat everything. It will look better!

    Yeah, I wonder why they would go through the trouble of mixing up different types of paint? Can't save that much.

    Hood and side scoops painted,
    Talked to painter again about underside of hood, he said the clear coat would not be good because of heat???
    anyhow, whata ya think?

    You have to trust your painter, ask a lot of questions though. If you show alot of interest in the job, He'll know how important, it is to you to do it right. The good ones think of themself's as artists, and know that a job done right is the best form of advertising.

    I like the way your Car is looking! Has a serious business like look to it, without being too flashy!

    you're absolutley correct, my painter did have the arstist attitude and spent alot of time on prep.

    Thank You for the feedback, still work in progress, wanted it to look different and stay simple

    i say no stripes. looks great the way it is. i think the stripes might be a little too much.
