thanks buddie! yeah ive also looked into it 5K plus labor and a good tune will be a big bill for him, he actually wants to race me now as is then he puled the "im waiting for my turbo in a month" ive done reserch as well ive read around those are very weak motors and is only a time bomb when FI im not worrying about it ive also checked out several vidz of alot of turbo 350's losin to M3's and srt-4's...illl try to grab it on vid and post here asap

Sounds like a typical ricer to me...when I get XXX I'll be soooo much faster than you...LOL

I did a quick search and a turbo kit for one of those (if its 03' or newer) is gonna cost the guy avg $5k and it puts them at 450hp...they claim whp gains of 125-150whp over stock. It should be pretty quick I would assume 12s.

Just tell him if you do a blower upgrade you'd be in the 10s lol.

Take it to the track...plain and simple

I have seen them run at Speedworld tons of times with intake/exh and run low 14s.

ya, i ran with 255/50/17 street tires though lol.

traction is non existent with 460rwtq and street tires.

managed a 12.9 @ 111.5 with a 2.1 60'

oh and at 10.5psi

wanted to see if i could make 13s with my dd tires. ended up with a 12, and at lower psi so i was happy.

next time i go, ill have the spray bar on, and the slicks/skinnies :)
