    Tranny?

Who knows what # spline a 1999 stock cobra tranny has? Also I had asked a few weeks ago about clutches and was told spec 3+, but what if I dont need that capacity for torque. Are lower stages just as good?

Dan form PSR says you have a t45 10 spline.

Recommends the spec 3. He said the 3+ may be too much.

Spec 2 may work well also.

    Yep t-45.

I had a Spec 3 clutch in my 99 and it was a little chattery on the street but snapped really well on shifts.

I replaced it with a Centerforce Dual Friction. Didn't chatter but also didn't have the crips snap on shifts.

Depends on what you want. I say the Spec 3 is border line for an every day driver but it grips well...

Which one did you like better. Is the chatter really that bad?
