    Do I need a new Tune?

    IF I take the cats off of my 03 Cobra and install straight pipe do I need to get a new tune? Thanks in advance

    You will want to get the A/F checked to make sure it is safe. It will probably lean the car out some.

    When I put the pro chamber on it leaned the car out.

    I couldn't stand the fumes so I am back to a catted x pipe now.

    I would have a A/F checked afterwards just to make sure it still safe.

    I agree, get it checked. Lean is BAD. When I got my whipple, my tune was rich to a point of 10.8. It is now around 11.2-11.9.

    So was the whipple worth the money as far as performance is concerned?
