    Remembrance

When we are all off this long weekend at a BBQ with family / friends, soaking up the sun, having an ice cold beer, or just sitting around taking it easy.

Let us not forget the reason is to remember those who have given their all for us and the Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, and Marines that are presently giving their service in defense of this great country so that we may be free.

No matter what your politics are, the men and women in our armed services deserve our respect for the thankless job they perform day to day voluntarily for little pay.

In case you have not seen this on You Tube, it conveys this message in video much better then I could ever put it into words.

    It is worth a watch

    Have a great Memorial Day

Just put my brand new flag up this morning, after 5 years in the sun and wind it was a bit tattered, maybe my neighbors will put up theirs today too. I hope...

    Great Video!!!!

Don't forget, proper way to display flag for this holiday is to lower it to half staff until noon and then raise it to the top in the afternoon. GREAT VIDEO!

I took this picture last Memorial day when we were in D.C. and thought I'd share it with everyone.
