Nice what is your best pass?
very nice!! its always good to improve on your best time when ya visit the track. i know i have the past three times out. guess that proves the ol, practice makes perfect.
Thanks, bro.
This was more a matter of tuning. I finally got the bugs worked out so I could concentrate on the car. Here's how it went:
1st run off the trailer was 10.35 at 132.6 mph wit a 1.52 sixty foot. My shift light was set at 6900 and my 2-step was set at 4800.
2nd run, I lowered the 2 step to 4200 and set the shift light at 6500. The car went 10.25 at 131.5 aith a 1.46 sixty foot time.
3rd run, I lowered the 2 step to 3800 and kept the shift light at 6500. The car went 10.208 at 132.8 with a 1.449 sixty foot.
4th run, no changes. The car went 10.213 at 131.8 with a 1.445 sixty foot.
So, the last two runs, with no adjustments between them, the car was within 5 thousandths in the ET. I'll take that kind of consistency any day.
I made some suspension adjustments before I went to the track, so the car was launching good and straight. I wasn't cutting lights like I did a couple weeks ago. All I could muster was a .005 (compared to the .004 and .001 from the last race). And, I went to sleep first round of eliminatios and cut a .092 . . . . I was apparently watching the in car movie before I decided to let go of the button . . lol
