Thread: Diamond Racing Wheels

    Actually with the Diamond racing wheels started using the stock taper on their wheels so you don't have to use a different lug.

    Thats new news I haven't heard. I have an old set that requires the special taper.

    Yeah I recently bought a set about 3 months ago and when I asked them about so racing lugs they said it wasn't necessary. And also I balanced mine to answer Lucafu1 question.

    Thats cool. I did a lug centric balance on mine with a single strip of stick on weights in the middle with some duct tape over it.

    So how is the car running?

    The car is running well. I went 10.67 @ 131 a few weeks ago before I got kicked out. I really wasn't expecting that kind of run but hey I was happy. Time for a cage now

    20#'s for the time being. I'm looking at going to 23#'s this fall and I hate to say it but I'm putting in a soild axle right now.

    LOL yeah you need to come to the darkside with the rest of us. I'm using an 8.8 out of an 01 Gt, Detroit/Eaton 31 spline trutrac, 3:55 gears, Moser axles, UMI UCA/LCA, torque box reinforcments, pretty standard stuff.

    You going to do 9" ends.

    I know a few fast cars out here without them, but it always seems like I have a target on my head when I get in the tech line.
