My friend just got a 2003 Cobra GT supercharged and is currently only getting 9 miles to the gallon, any suggestions outside of keeping his foot out of it to boost the gas mileage???? Thanks bunches

shift from 1-3-5. that will save some. another good tip is to keep your foot out of it. listening to the blower whine is fun, but hard on milage.
also, its not a mustang gt cobra. there is no gt. its just a mustang cobra.
then some one swapped the logos. i could not understand why someone would do that one though.
OK im wrong, hey at least I admit it. but is there anything he can do?
hahaha. its all good. just had to point that out.
and the shift pattern i suggested honestly will help out alot. i allmost always go 1-3-5-6. it helps save gas in a big way.

Keep the rpms down. You could also change rear end gears to put a taller gear in there to get more highway mileage. Keeping the car well tuned is also a good idea. Clean air filter, fresh plugs and a good tune will all help.
However, if you truly want good gas mileage, a Cobra is not the best choice in cars.
