Short of all this covid shit going on the car scene is still going strong in the valley. Still lots car shows and gatherings. Racing has seriously slowed down. WHP and their stupid restrictions sure makes it hard to want to go there. Tuscon isn't much better with curfew restrictions they just imposed. Snow...you can keep it lol.

Racing was falling off when I left there in 2012. I remember Firebird being very busy before the real estate crash.

Like I said before, been away from the drag strips for too long. 2012 would have been around the last time I ran the Pinto and that was at Speedworld...may have been before 2012. There might be a new dragstrip in Az before too long. Kingman has been trying for years to get something going but everything seemed to fall through. They finally revived the Kingman Street Drags last year. I was getting this Mustang ready for that race when this covid shit caused the cancellation of the race this year so it should be back on in 2021 hopefully. A few guys in Lake Havasu are in the early planning stages of a track in Tupac. From what I understand the land is donated or being sold at very reasonable price and some investors are lined up. This was tried a few years back but last minute the land owner got super greedy and like tripled the price of the land so that fell through. The track would be great for Kingman and Havasu, would be about a 3-4 hr drive from Phoenix.
