    Dtc 5284

    I was messing around in my car last night and noticed that I have a code that comes up when performing the test function. the dtc code is 5284 Oil Pressure Switch Failure. Does anyone else have this code?

    Did it turn on the check engine light?

    No check engine light, no codes show up on the XCAL2. Only when I do the test on the dash. Maybe I should check the oil sesor and maybe replace it.

    well I unplugged the battery for a little while and after hooking it back up the code is gone. We'll see if it comes back after putting some miles on it tonight.
