The first of the Copperstate Mustang Club group that went to Knotts Berry/Fabulous Fords got back into town around 9 PM last night.

Mustang Fanatics if you havn't been to this show, you have to go at least once, just to see what all the excitement is about. There were 1809 Fords registered, the Club volunteered to help park entrents, and was assigned Class 45 Fox Hardtops (Foxes Forever!), with 74 Cars entered.

The highlight of the weekend for me was the tour of the Saleen Factory (I want a Parnelli Jones edition in the worst way!) on Saturday. Followed by a trip to the Mall, and the Saleen Shop (Only in Car Crazy California), and a ride in the PJ Boss. The exhaust note in that Car is tuned to perfection, and even resonates in the trunk, like stereo speakers.

It's a good time, just hanging out with the the other owners, seeing what they have done to their Cars, and finding out what the other Clubs are planning for the year.

San Diego is the second weekend in October, and another "Must see Carshow".

Hope to hear from the slowpolks when they get back into town!

Last time I was there was in 1988, when it was free...

Cougar and Akuma said there were no Boss 9's out there this year, anyone confirm?

It would be one of the last 2-3 built out of the production run of 500 Chris. Word is that they have allready built 340-350, and most of the rest have been spoken for by Dealers, and existing orders, with the last 2-3 to be sold by the Saleen Store at MSRP.

Confirmed no Boss 9's at the Saleen Plant. But I know of two, sitting in a Warehouse in downtown Prescott.
