    Greetings from a newbie, I'll make an official newbie post in the correct area later! A friend of mine has been following this and this is what he told me today;

    Well........and that is a deep subject. We (AAHC) were told it would go into effect on 1 March but that isn't the case. All of the mucky-mucks needed one more look at the thing so 15 or 30 April is the new effective day for the change. You will need to have "Collectible car insurance" and it can not be your only vehicle and the insurance may have a yearly mileage limitation. Once after it goes into effect for a cover car, you will need to visit your antagonistic MVD office with your insurance declaration page to have that info entered in the MVD computer and they should stamp your registration "exempt" and unless you sell the car or forget to pay the insurance bill on time, you should never have to do it again. I hope!
