Hello!! My girlfriend's son just turned 18 and wants to buy a 2006 Mustang, manual trans with a V-6. The one he is currently looking at has 125k miles. I would appreciate any info you all could provide about common issues with these cars so I know kind of what to look for.

I have owned a 1966 Mustang and a 1985 Mustang, and have some basic mechanical knowledge but I generally leave vehicles made after 1995 alone. We do intend to take the car to a mechanic to look it over also.
