1973 was the last year for Ford Convertabiles, due to declining popularity, and Insurance regulation. T-Tops debuted with the 1978 Mustang II, more or less filling the gap, untill the 1983 model year when the Convertable returned. Ford sold 23,438 Mustang Convertables that year.

74-78 should be banshed from being known as mustangs....sorry.....
i have never seen one, so my vote is for no.

Tony, you have to realize that if they never built the Mustang II which in fact sold more models than any other in Mustang History, we might not have our car at all today... We could have been driving Granada's!!!!

I know you don't have to. I can think of many other Mustangs that I would buy way before even thinking of getting one but they did serve a purpose!!! Farrah Faucet looked awsome in her Cobra II !!!!
I wonder if I can find a picture of that??????

I looked for it the other day. I can't say that its the best thing I've ever seen but its cool to find something new about the Mustang!!!
