My HID's are actually the 8000k's. One of my friends picked up a real low quality 6000k kit and they looked only slightly brighter then stock (wtf?) so I went out the 8000k kit not knowing how a real HID kit should look!

actually the lower the k the brighter the output. the higher the k the more color you get....
and i did want mine to be blue, but not too blue. and the 6k is a great compromise. ;)

What I was trying to say was that my friends kit was a POS, he got it from some no name company off of ebay for like 100 shipped lol.
