    Vortech V2

A neighbor stopped by today while I was working on my 87. He ask what type of Vortech I was using. I said a V2, he said no , is it an S,Si,SQ, or T. I said I did not know as the ID tag only states V2. Does anybody know what these letters stand for and how to tell the difference?

From what I understand the letters determine how the blades are cut. S-trim means straight cut and SQ-trim means helical cut. I am not sure what Si or T means.

I think the V2 is a newer version. It would come before the trim like V2-S trim. Vortec should be able to tell you what it is based on the serial number.
