Some pics of my new toy - 88 Notch

Well, its time for me to sell my Evo and get back into the Mustang game, mostly because I want to buy a house and have no car payment. But I have always wanted a white notch so when I came across it I just had to have it. So far its got a rebuilt 306, hooker equal length headers, mac o/r prochamber, mac cat back, adjustable lower rear control arms, eibach springs, alpine audio throughout, some ford racing gauges, 373 gears, aluminum driveshaft, tremec 3550 trans. Itll be on the road full time within a month but before then I need to do a heater core and I'm going to do more audio work, replace the sun visors, replace the cracked piece on the dash and just get her cleaned up. Immediate plans(2-3 months) are 5 lug swap, new wheels, new carpet, trade out exhaust and repaint all the trim/molding.

    Here she is:

lmao!!! your brothers fox is my old one!! i was wondering if it was still in town. someone saw it one day and i was like sweet! i miss that car alot. i wish i could have finished it the way i wanted to.

dont forget the coil overs, tubular control arms, racing seas, gutted, gears, etc. that bad boy moved! with the 275's on it, it would destroy the tires till 60mph!

Haha go figure, small world. I was kinda hoping that when I posted it someone might recognize one of the cars. Its an awesome car and runs great. The guy we bought it from, Lane, definitely neglected/****ed up a lot of stuff on it that we have had to go through and fix, valve stem seals are next. It eats oil badly, but seems to run good otherwise. Were in the process of reinstalling all the interior and heating bits. We got a donor GT that was smashed in the front end and gutted it for the interior to put in this hatch, including all wiring harnesses since the car is an electrical nightmare. Its just going to be easier to use all new harnesses and try to get it through emissions to make it a street legal car again. Obviously after it gets through itll go back to uncatted and etc etc. The goal is to turn it from gutted race car to badass daily driver.

The valve stem seals leaked from day one when I put the heads on it. The block was bought from mustang mike in queens creek. I sold it to two navy recruiters. Not sure if that was you guys

Stock block with e303 cam and new timing chain. Edelbrock estreet heads with new frpp lifters and comp cams hardened pushrods. 1.6 roller rockers intake and 600cc carb. It ran like a rapped ape with a 750cc but killed gas bad. Rear end was fully built by fbr with 3.73s. The car a 4 cylinder. I swapped in an 8.8 rear end. New control arms coil overs on kyb shocks and qa1 control arms. Wheels and tires new radiator. Electric fan and controller. Msd ball bearing distributor new wires plugs etc. I stripped it. I was gonna cage it and make it a full road course car. It was far from finished.

I originally started to rewire the car for my needs. It was a basic rewire to cover what was needed and I was in the process of building a new plug and play harness which incorporated cannon plugs for ease of removal. I'm not sure what they did after they got it but the car was mechanically sound. I drove it all the time. Wish I kept it.
