It has the same diff as the 03/04 Cobras. Not sure on the control arm bolts but they are MM. Hes got quite a bit of money into his solid so it looks like he is either looking for a highly modded IRS with delrin bushings or trade plus cash
He said
The 04 uses a 14mm bolt vs the 12mm bolt used up to 02. The fox guys have to drill the hole larger when using an 03/04 setup. My control arms are for a 12mm bolt. I'm not sure why he says they won't work in his cobra. He can sleeve the hole for a 12mm bolt or order new bushings for the chassis side from maximum for the 14mm bolt.
ahawkins any interest?
I personally would not want the hassle of trying to make a 12mm bolt work on an 04. I would take the largest diameter bolt for strength and durability. It is my understanding the torque box holes on the fox body cars are smaller than the 04's. Putting a 12mm bolt in a 14mm torque box hole is not a good idea. 1999 and newer uses 14mm chassis side bolts.

I skimmed through the thread.. This may have been brought up.. the fox axle housing is shorter than the 99-04 housing. the fox housing is the same up to 98.
the chassis side is sheetmetal though. having dealt with this issue before and being sent the wrong control arms, i would just want the proper control arms. if it was just as easy as swapping the bushing in the control arm (would need the sleeve and the poly bushing), no biggie. but the sheet metal holes on the chassis side are what bothers me. and with the abuse he'll put on the car with an SRA in it, i would advise against it. sorry, not trying to be a deal killer or what not, just want the facts out there. its always easier to remove material, not that simple to add it.
also, what slosvo added was useful info as well, as its true. the fox housing is shorter.
Fox housing is the closest to the IRS width.
