Harness Mount

Well the tech Nazis were out to get me last night.

I was told that wrapping my harness around the crossbar is not legal unless you have a bracket to prevent lateral movement added to the bar.

I was in tech for 20 minutes until they finally let me run and was told to take care if the issue before my next return.


Has anyone else ever been told this?

I need a bar added like in the picture.

I was also told that seats with harness cutouts do not negate having this bar.

Was this at Firebird I dont have that bar darn I hope they don't bother me about that. Planning on going tomorrow to speedworld the 31st. I remember somthing about that in my tech book but I lost it. I need to join NRHA again get aonther book.
