    Question Paint vs vinyl

The last non-performance mod I want to make to my 011 5.0 GT convertible is stripeing. I want to do Supersnake stripes on the hood & trunk & a rocker panel stripe on both sides. I looked in to paint, but pretty expensive and permanent!! Once it's done....! Thoughts??? I can get vinyl stripes online, but would like to do something a little different with them to make it my owm. Know anyone that produces and, or applies them?? Thanks

I would have your car photo shopped first to see how you like it then paint the stripes, but it is a process as you dont want to feel the stripes...

Unless this car is going to be in the garage or shade most of it's life the paint will last alot longer here in this Aridzona sun. Most of the vinyl stripes on these cars seem to only last a couple of years than they start to look like crap. And they can be a major pain in the ass to get off. Because of our lovely 364 days of sunshine the paint will be darker where the stripes have been removed, and if this car is a daily driver the sun fade can happen alot quicker than you think, which means you will have to get the vinyl replaced or you will have to get paint done anyway. So by the time you pay to have vinyl done and then done again from sun baking you could have payed the same just getting paint done.
