I love it, it eliminates the skip shift and makes it even that more responsive, it wont tax out the engine.. The problem with the afternmarket tunes is that they are pushing them beyond redline which mine wont do it shuts down and my dash turned RED when I Pushed it, scarred me at first but it was protecting itself from me!!! The RED dash lights was cool though!

Sky is not falling, the same thing happened when the pushed the 4.6 over the edge too. A Few GT500's motors blew when these tuners pushed them too far...

I think what I found informative is that the 5.0 motor is pretty much maxed out in the horsepower department, without making some big changes structurally.

Well that kind of kills the ability to supercharge the engine without having to do a crap load of engine mods. Like dave said people have probably blown up their engines by not doing something properly and then complained to Ford about it. So this might just be a precaution from Ford. I hope that is the case after all the hype around the 5.0 engine.

Its like any new engine, here are the specs and then aftermarket takes over and see's what they can and cant do with these engines. And who know exactly what one person is doing or how they are driving their cars. I dont know of any car manufacturer that would guarantee an engine after it was modded by a non Ford Authorized Part. Would You? Mass produced parts fail all the time, even $100K motors when they are pushed too hard, one little glitch and K pow!
