    Project V8 Fairmont

I am toying with the idea of taking two of my vehicles and making one. Starting my my 81 fairmont wagon and basically taking everything out of a mustang I have had for a few years. Now I just need to find the time to do all of this.

    Starting with this....

    And installing this...

302, vortech, t56, aeromotive fuel system, full bassini exhaust with long tubes, 5 lug discs, tubular front end, coilovers f/r....

What are your guys thoughts? Going to be a long project since I don't have much time at the moment to work on it.

This is the car I would be taking everything off. It looks better in the pics.

    2012 Race Red GT w/ a 5 Liter and a 6 speed
2010 Dodge Challenger R/T traded in.
'03 DBS Cobra .... Traded in, THANK GOD
'01 Ford Lightning.... Sold, sorely missed

I was thinking on changing that. What would you put in its place? Also not sure if the mustang gas tank will work on the fairmont, might use a stock tank and weld in a sump.

I will be completely honest with you......

There is NO WAY a wagon would be "cool" or "fun" unless the engine is MASSIVE and the hood has to be cut out just so it can fit. Fox/Notchbacks are not my first choice in a mustang... but its seems so rare to find such a clean one. Why? Why could you do such a thing!
