    Cars and Coffee Scottsdale

Is anyone planning on going to the cars and coffee in Scottsdale? It's at The Shops at Gainey Village located on the southeast corner of Scottsdale & Doubletree Ranch Rd. It starts at like 7:30am and goes to 11am I think. I've been to the one in Dallas and they get like 1000 cars. Mainly exotics but a few classics as well....Thought about heading up there perhaps w/ the 65 before it gets too hot to take it out....

You sure they let us lesser muscle car types in? Looks like all exotic European stuff from the pics I've seen. Still, might be a good excuse for a cruise up and back.

Can you come and go as you please or do you need to be there on time and commit until 11?

I am going to try to get there, but is this in North Scottsdale? I went to the one at Irvine CA last year and it was great......see attached pics. It is for all noteworthy vehicles and about the only time the Euros are with the classics.

Went to C&C this morning, was good (not as good as Irvine CA) with about 150 cars or so. Many exotics (will put up pic later), Vettes , couple of older Mustangs (very nice cars). Found the new Shelby shop in Scottsdale, closed. And got rearended on my way home at 51st and Happy Valley. Not much visible damage, got hit by a old lady in a Prius. But hit felt like a kick to the kidney, pmeds came to check me out but I decided to drive home, still a little sore there. Cops gave her a ticket!

That's bad new Rick. I assume you were driving your 66? Hard to believe you got jarred that good and sustained no damage to the car. Some idiot rear-ended me about 2 months after I had just finished the restoration in 08. Had to replace the rear valance, bumper and have the tail panel straightened. Thankfully no damage to the frame or quarters. Sounds like you were lucky - other than the kidneys!
