    Street Legal Drag Racing Series

    SERIES OVERVIEW

    General Info:

The NHRA/AAA Street Legal Drag Racing Program at Speedworld Raceway Park kicks off on November 11, 2006. This ten (10) race series will culminate with a final event and party on February 24, 2007. The series is designed to give licensed drivers an alternative to illegal street racing. We are providing a safe, organized and controlled environment as an alternative to illegal street racing. All street-legal machines (cars, trucks, motorcycles) are invited to participate. Each event will include participation incentives including all night DJ party music, Special Features & Competitions, raffle prizes, give-a ways, product sampling, etc.The Street Legal Drag Racing Program format includes time trials and grudge racing, giving each racer the opportunity to make the maximum number of runs down the drag strip. Grudge racing permits participants to choose their competition rather than participate in an organized eliminator. Win or lose, participants may return to the staging lanes for more time trial or grudge runs.Racers will accumulate drawing entries at each of the series events for a Grand Prize Drawing to be held at the series finale February 24, 2007.

What is the use if the track is not prepped can we get some sort of assurance that the complete track will be glued? Because if it isn’t I will not be attending. I personally don’t want to hit a wall like Little Gary due to poor track conditions.
