My 1st AZ Fastest Street Car Race

Well after years of going to these races and watching I finally raced with them today.
I signed up for True Street (10.0 class)

I made one test pass and went 10.09 @ 137 (1.48 60') on 9psi

I was happy with that, the field was VERY competitive with cars testing at 10.01, 10.03, 10.08 and a few 10.1 cars also. WOW.

1st round I pull up, footbraking the car up after the 1st bulb lit. I got the car up to about 2900ish and went to jump in on the 2nd bulb. Well my foot slipped completely off the brake and the car just launched LOL.

Talk about a REDLIGHT haha.

I looked in my rearview about 1/2 track (I still did a full run what the heck I fig'd) and the car has just left LOL!

Got to load the car up early, but I had alotta fun. That's racing sometimes

Also I think my race next weekend will be all she wrote for my footbrake days. My DR's are about done and I plan to put some slicks on the car and 2 step/transbrake it so I can launch with boost.

Holding a buttom with a tranny locked out is alot better than my foot possibly slipping off a pedal
