    Question 9" VS 8.8 rear end ? NO OPINION'S!

Dead man typing..... lol Hi guys sorry I have left all you..... I am trying to get back.

So i am building a 97 v6 mustang into my track toy (i don't have much lucky with the cobra).
i have a BIG block ford (429ci) set up to rev... with a lot of nitrous huffing down it. HOPING for 9??hp 8??tq I have a built C6 (thanks to mustang Mikey) it will have a 12 point cage with motor plate. The wheels will be pro stars 3.5x15 and 10x15 in back. my question is what kind of torque can the 8.8 handle? I have seen 800+hp on the 8.8 with a small block but no one talks about tq..... We all know the 9 is B.A. but it takes a lot to spin.. and cost a lot. this is a budget car (lol yea.. right!).. I need input from guys who have used both or KNOW both...
